Enjoying the perfect steak doesn’t mean visiting a fine resto if you know how to cook it like a pro 😉

Even if you don’t you can fake it till you make it with this #BaysideButchery Garlic Butter Herb Beef Steak!

You will need:

  • 2 Bayside Butchery Premium beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method:

Pro Tip🙌: Take your steaks out of the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking to bring them to room temperature.

  1. Pat Bayside Butchery steaks dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and allow it to get hot.
  4. Place the steaks in the hot pan and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until a golden-brown crust forms. Adjust the time based on your desired level of doneness.
  5. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add minced garlic to the pan. Once aromatic, add butter, thyme and rosemary.
  6. Tilt the pan and spoon the melted butter over the steaks to baste them.
  7. Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
  8. Slice the steaks against the grain into thin strips.
  9. Arrange them on a plate, drizzle with the garlic herb butter from the pan, and sprinkle fresh parsley on top.

Serve your garlic butter herb beef steaks with your favourite sides, such as mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.

This recipe creates a flavourful and juicy steak with the rich essence of garlic and herbs. Enjoy your juicy steak!
